Throwback Thrusday: Wizarding World of Harry Potter

This is summer is all about Harry Potter. It's a very exciting time for fans of the series because of the Diagon Alley expansion at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Universal Studios Orlando opening to the public on July 8, 2014. That's about 3 weeks away! And across the pacific in the land of the rising sun, the version 1 of Wizarding World of Harry Potter will open at Universal Studios Japan on July 15, 2014. Not to be out done by the original Harry Potter park, you can definitely expect to find some new features in Japan that you won't be able to find in Florida. Such as the Black Lake outside of the castle, take a peak inside the Hogwarts Express and have your photo taken with the beautiful interior design, and the restrooms are designed after the ones in the films. If you are a Harry Potter fan like me, definitely check out both theme parks if you get the chance.

This post is a throwback post when I went to the original Wizarding World back when it opened the summer of 2010. One of the most magical time in my life. Just as magical as visiting a Disney theme park, but with it's own charm.

Mom! I made it to Hogsmeade.
 The snowy rooftops of Hogsmeade
 Inside Honeydukes
 Some edible chocolate wands
This place will bring out the child and your sweet tooth with all the fun colors
Chocolate frogs and with famous wizard cards found inside

The owl post is a resting area and you can send a post card stamped with the official postmark
The restroom was next to this and you can hear Moaning Myrtle while doing your business
Hogs Head is where you can get butterbeer and real beer
Voices kept coming from this area
Mmmm frozen butterbeer. You can get 2 types the regular carbonated one or the frozen. Buy the mug and get $0.85 refills around the park.

 Mandatory photo with Hogswart castle
The attraction inside Ollivanders wand shop
The Three Broomsticks won't serve alcohol to even minor wizards

That's all for now stay sweet!
